Marlo Hampton & Sanya Richards-Ross Agree That Phaedra Is Above ‘RHOA’

Sanya Richards Ross and Marlo Hampton have shared their thoughts on Phaedra Parks returning to the #RealHousewivesOfAtlanta, and they both believe she’s evolved beyond the drama of the show.

On a recent episode of their podcast The Real Close Friends, Sanya expressed her excitement about Phaedra’s return, but shared that she feels the former RHOA star didn’t quite fit in during her brief time on Married to Medicine:

“I can’t wait to see her back on Housewives, because on Married to Medicine she didn’t give the old Phaedra; she didn’t really fit in there.”

Marlo agreed, but took it a step further, stating that Phaedra has grown beyond that type of reality TV:

“I don’t think Phaedra is going to give that period, though, now. She’s funny as s***, she’s smart, she’s very articulate. She kind of graduated from Real Housewives of Atlanta. She’s kind of above it.”

Despite their departure earlier this year, Sanya and Marlo are staying up-to-date with all things RHOA as season 16 is set to bring back familiar faces, including Phaedra Parks, Porsha Williams, Drew Sidora, and Shamea Morton. Newcomers Brit Eady, Kelli Ferrell, and Angela Oakley will also join the cast, with Cynthia Bailey returning as a friend of the show.
