President Biden Snaps At Reporter Over Hostage Deal Question
President Biden gave a snarky response to a reporter’s question about the possibility of reaching a deal to bring Israeli captives home from Gaza before the end of his term.
While meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog in the Oval Office on Tuesday (Nov. 12), Biden was asked by Israeli journalist Neria Kraus if a ceasefire could be achieved and whether the Israeli captives in Gaza might be brought home before January. The question came as the room was filled with reporters and cameras.
Biden’s response, as per a White House transcript, was:
“Do you think you can keep from getting hit in the head by a camera behind you?”

Kraus later shared a video of the exchange on social media, explaining the frustration:
“The political reality is such that President Biden, who’s committed to bringing the hostages home, was not able to give me a clear answer about this very critical question regarding getting a hostage deal by the end of his term.”
Looks like Biden might be ready to move out of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
