Quincy Brown & Christian Combs Send Cease & Desist Over Kim Porter Book
Christian Combs and Quincy Brown are taking legal action over a book allegedly based on their late mother Kim Porter’s diary.
The brothers fired off a cease and desist letter to Courtney Burgess, the man behind the book Kim Porter Tell It All (‘Tell It All’) — which is currently being sold online under the pseudonym Jamal Millwood. In the letter, obtained by TMZ, Quincy and Christian assert that they became the rightful heirs and owners of Kim’s intellectual property rights after her death in 2018, and therefore claim the purported diary entries belong to them.

Burgess has made multiple claims in interviews, saying the book is an “original unedited” copy of Kim’s diary/memoir. He even went as far as to say he obtained a flash drive containing the diary from people close to Kim and printed it without any edits. However, the famous brothers aren’t buying it. The letter calls Burgess’ flash drive story “patently false,” and insists that if the flash drive does exist, it should belong to them as Kim’s heirs.
In addition to the cease and desist demand, the siblings have given Burgess five days to stop selling the book, end interviews making false claims, and return any of Kim’s belongings. If Burgess doesn’t comply, a lawsuit could be on the way.
