Luigi Mangione Has Been Indicted For The M*rder Of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson
Things aren’t looking too good for Luigi Mangione, the suspected killer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
A New York grand jury has officially indicted Mangione on charges of m*rdering Thompson, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office revealed on Tuesday (Dec. 17).
According to reports, the 26-year-old was charged with one count of first-degree murder in furtherance of terrorism and two counts of second-degree murder, one of which is charged as killing as an act of terrorism.

If convicted of second-degree murder in New York, Mangione would be looking at 15 years to life in prison. The first-degree murder charge carries a sentence of 20 years to life.
He was also charged in the indictment in Manhattan Supreme Court with multiple counts of criminal possession of a weapon and a single count of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.
As reported, Mangione stands accused of fatally shooting Thompson on Dec. 4 outside of a Manhattan hotel, moments before the CEO was scheduled to appear at a meeting inside the hotel.
