Drake Fans Divided Over Alleged Diss Aimed At LeBron James [VIDEO]
Drake’s recently surfaced freestyle, “Fighting Irish,” has sparked intense debate online.
The song, widely speculated to be a diss aimed at his former friend LeBron James, includes several hints suggesting the Canadian rap star may still harbor resentment over the NBA superstar’s lack of public support during his summer feud with Kendrick Lamar.

Reportedly, the track’s title seemingly refers to the team LeBron played for in high school. Adding fuel to the speculation, LeBron has allegedly been spotted wearing a watch resembling the one Drake references in the song while rapping about exchanging watches with the antagonist of the record.
It’s also worth noting that Drake’s song surfaced around the same time a video of LeBron rapping along to Kendrick Lamar’s “Man at the Garden” from his GNX album began circulating online.
Another lyric fueling the belief that Drake was reflecting on his strained relationship with LeBron:
“Talkin’ ‘bout we family, well, I’m not the cousin to visit
God forbid we ever got to tarnish your public image
All that brother talk as if I really discovered a sibling
Six degrees, my memory’s retrievin’ our humble beginnings.”
The situation has divided Drake’s fanbase. Some defend his feelings while others argue that such matters should be resolved privately.
