‘Topanga’ Trends After ‘Boy Meets World’ Star Danielle Fishel Was Recognized At WWE Fight, While Co-Star Will Friedle Was Snubbed
Danielle Fishel is trending after an awkward moment at a recent WWE fight, where she and her “Boy Meets World” co-star Will Friedle were shown on the jumbotron.
The camera panned to the pair who played Topanga and Eric Matthews, but only Danielle’s name appeared in the lower third, while Will was left out.

Fans quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to point out the snub. One user tweeted, “Why is it all about Topanga? ERIC MATTHEWS IS RIGHT THERE TOO!” while another wrote, “Hey @WWE, I know it’s very common to love Topanga, but what about Eric Matthews?!?”
Danielle later addressed the situation on Instagram, writing,
“Was cool to find myself and Will Friedle on the jumbotron only to later trend because the cameraman didn’t recognize Will. ? Honestly, Will and I laughed about this the entire ride home.”
