‘Boy Meets World’ Star Danielle Fishel Opens Up About Painful Burn After 20 Radiation Rounds In Breast Cancer Battle

Danielle Fishel is updating fans on her breast cancer journey and the toll twenty rounds of radiation have taken on her body.

In a recent episode of “Pod Meets World,” Fishel, 43, shared that while she’s officially finished with radiation treatments, the side effects persist:

“I have a very bad sunburn. I also have a rash on top of the sunburn, which is just great. It’s very itchy, and, also, you can’t itch it, because if you even come close to touching it, you wanna cry.”

Despite the pain, Fishel remains optimistic:

“It’s not gonna last forever. Physically, every day now, I’m supposed to be getting better.”

Fishel will begin hormone therapy Tamoxifen once she’s fully healed from the radiation.
