A$AP Rocky – Judge In Rapper’s G*n Trial Asks If He’s Married To Rihanna: It’s Common-Law Wife, Your Honor
The judge in A$AP Rocky’s firearm assault trial had a brief debate in court about how he should refer to Rihanna. Rocky’s legal team shared that Rih was his “common-law wife,” later stating that “wife” would do.
However, the attorney did clarify he was unsure if they were ever legally married.
The rapper faces two felony charges of assault with a semiautomatic firearm related to a 2021 shooting incident involving former bandmate Terell Ephron, known as A$AP Relli. Before the trial began, Rocky rejected a last-minute plea agreement.

Rocky’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, stated, “He’s not interested” in negotiating, emphasizing that
“he did not commit a crime.”
The trial, which will include a 12-person jury, follows failed attempts by both parties to reach a settlement, though no formal offer was made by prosecutors. Tacopina criticized the prosecution’s case, calling it
“fundamentally weak.”
If convicted, Rocky faces up to 24 years in prison.
The incident stems from an argument in Hollywood, during which Ephron claims Rocky pointed a gun at him and fired. Additionally, Ephron has filed a civil lawsuit for assault and defamation.
Y’all think Rih will make an appearance at trial?
