Cam’ron Suggests Gelo Ball May Have CTE After ‘Tweaker’ Artist Declares Himself The ‘Colder’ Rapper
Cam’ron recently alluded to LiAngelo “Gelo” Ball having brain issues after the former basketball star-turned-rapper boldly claimed he’s the “colder” rapper.
During an episode of It Is What It Is, Cam’ron reacted to Gelo’s remarks from a Complex interview with Speedy Morman, saying:
“I’ve never seen a basketball player/rapper with CTE. There’s no other way to explain it […] I thought it was a boxing or football thing. But obviously, rappers and basketball players can get it too.”
He continued:
“First of all, okay cool, we didn’t even know you rapped like that. Why do n*gg*s keep moving the goalpost? We said you’re not a professional basketball player. I don’t understand how n*gg*s keep switching […] I never said he couldn’t rap. I didn’t even know he did rap […], and we can tell how quickly he switched his occupation.”

Cam’ron’s comments come after Gelo responded to criticism from the Dipset rapper. As previously reported, Cam’ron clowned the Detroit Lions for inviting rookie rapper Gelo to perform his viral hit “Tweaker” ahead of their playoff game against the Washington Commanders—suggesting his presence cursed the team.
Firing back, Gelo dismissed Cam’ron’s status in hip-hop, claiming he isn’t even in the “top 5” conversation, adding:
“I ain’t finna get punked for nothing…I don’t know Cam’ron…I think I rap colder than him.”
What are your thoughts? Y’all putting Gelo over Cam’ron when it comes to rap skills??
