Lil Wayne Announces New Album ‘Tha Carter VI’ In Cetaphil Ad
Lil Wayne just hit fans with an unexpected album announcement.
Earlier this week, he teased an “exciting” reveal, and many assumed it was about his upcoming Tweaker remix with LiAngelo Ball dropping on February 7. Instead, the real news came through a Cetaphil commercial.
Towards the end of the ad, Wayne is shown in a studio session before shutting the door, which reads: “Do not disturb ’til 6-6-25, Carter VI.”

This marks Wayne’s first album since Funeral in 2020 and his first Tha Carter release since Tha Carter V in 2018.
