Jacob Latimore fans have been sending him words of encouragement after he seemingly referenced his split from ex-girlfriend Serayah in a recent song.

The actor and singer recently joined a trending challenge where artists remix the lyrics to Chris Brown’s 2023 track “Residuals.” On his version, Jacob opened up about being selfish in a relationship, reflecting on a love that went separate ways. He sang:

“Though I wish you the best of luck, I just had to say it/ We was too different, I wasn’t ready/ To give you a baby.”

Fans quickly speculated that the lyrics were about Serayah, who announced earlier this month that she’s expecting a child with her current boyfriend, Joey Bada$$.

Serayah and Joey began dating in 2023, just months after her breakup with Jacob in February of that year.
