Whoopi Goldberg Says U.S. Should Cut Elon Musk’s Government Contracts For SpaceX: ‘I Don’t Know Why I’m Paying For It’
Whoopi Goldberg is calling for the government to cut funding to Elon Musk’s companies like SpaceX.
On a recent episode of The View, Whoopi voiced her concerns about Musk’s government contracts, questioning why taxpayers are funding SpaceX. She said,
“Elon has very many government contracts. I don’t remember looking for an armored car. I don’t know why I’m paying for it. When did we start paying for SpaceX?”
She continued,
“If we want to cut some money, let’s cut some of these.”

This comes after news that Musk, who also heads the Department of Government Efficiency, is pushing for former President Trump to allow him to audit NASA, potentially cutting funds from the space agency, while his own company, SpaceX, continues to receive government backing.
Do you agree with Whoopi’s stance on cutting funding to SpaceX? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
