Teen Charged In Fatal St@bbing At High School Track Meet, Karmelo Anthony, Has Bond Reduced From $1M To $250K
Karmelo Anthony just got a major break in court.
The teen accused of fatally st@bbing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at a Frisco, TX high school track meet earlier this month following an argument has had his bond reduced from $1,000,000 to $250,000.
Anthony’s attorney, Mike Howard, argued the original amount was excessive, telling the judge, “Give this young man a chance to get out of jail and be with his family.”

Judge Angela Tucker agreed to lower the bond but ordered that if Anthony is released, he must wear an ankle monitor and remain on house arrest.
A fundraiser for his legal defense has already raised over $418,000.
