Bow Wow Reflects On 2005 Romance w/ Ciara, Says She Was ‘On Fire’ & ‘The Hottest Female In The Game’
Bow Wow is reflecting on his 2005 relationship with Ciara, calling her “the youngest, hottest female in the game” during their time together.
In a new Billboard interview, he remembered their hit “Like You” from his “Wanted” album, saying it “just made so much sense” to record together.
“She was on fire,” Bow Wow said. “She was about to be certified triple-platinum on her first album, “Goodies.” Their chemistry, both romantic and professional, seemed effortless.
“It just made perfect sense for us to collaborate together on a Jermaine Dupri product,” he added. “And boom, there you have it — No. 1 out the gate.”
Despite not recording in the same studio, Bow Wow said the track was meant to be. “It was the perfect marriage for that record,” he said. “Nobody else could have sung that hook and did that verse like how she delivered.”
