Fyre Festival 2 Postponed, No New Date Set
Sad news for those looking to party at Fyre Festival 2 this summer.
News just broke that the revival of the controversial music festival has been postponed indefinitely. One of the event organizers and face of the festival, Billy McFarland, shared in a message sent to ticket holders,
“The event has been postponed and a new date will be announced. We have issued you a refund. Once the new date is announced, at that time, you can repurchase if it works for your schedule.”

If McFarland’s name sounds familiar, that may be because he was convicted of wire fraud in connection with the first Fyre Festival, which took place in 2017 in the Bahamas. The second attempt to get the event successfully off the ground was scheduled to take place in Mexico from May 30 to June 2, with tickets starting at $1,400.
Yikes…is Fyre Festival 2 giving scam? Or do you think it’s just some kinks that need to be worked out
