Pope Francis Passed Away From A Stroke, Vatican Confirms
Pope Francis’ cause of death has been revealed.
Pope Francis died following a cerebral stroke that left him in a coma and ultimately led to heart failure, the Vatican announced.
Dr. Andrea Arcangeli, head of the Vatican’s health department, confirmed Pope Francis’ death.
In accordance with his will, the Vatican stated that Francis will be buried in a simple underground tomb at Rome’s Basilica of Saint Mary Major, near a cherished icon of the Virgin Mary.
