Football Star Travis Hunter’s Father Granted Temporary House Arrest Leave To Attend NFL Draft
Travis Hunter’s father won’t be missing his son’s big NFL moment!
According to reports, Travis Hunter Sr. has been granted a temporary leave from house arrest so he can attend the NFL Draft in Green Bay, where his son, Travis Hunter, is projected to be a top 5 pick.
Per the terms of his approved travel plans, Travis Sr. is only permitted to travel between his hotel and Lambeau Field, the site of the draft, taking place April 24th – April 26th.

Travis Sr. is reportedly serving a home confinement sentence related to a 2023 arrest involving gun and drug charges. Despite the circumstances, he’ll be front and center as his son steps into NFL stardom.
Travis Jr., who has had a standout collegiate run, playing under Coach Deion “Prime” Sanders at Colorado, previously acknowledged his father’s absence while accepting the Heinemann Award back in December.
Now, the story comes full circle with his dad right by his side on draft day.
