Lil Durk Has Court Hearing On May 8 As His Legal Team Seeks To Get Him Released Ahead Of His M*rder-For-Hire Trial
Rapper Lil Durk is set to appear in court on May 8, 2025, to challenge his pre-trial detention. His legal team is pushing for the rapper to be released while he awaits trial, rather than remain in custody.
He’s facing federal charges tied to an alleged 2022 m*rder-for-hire plot targeting Quando Rondo in retaliation for King Von’s death. Prosecutors claim Lil Durk financed and coordinated a deadly attack that k*lled Quando Rondo’s cousin. Arrested in October 2024, he’s been held without bail. Lil Durk has pleaded not guilty to all charges, including conspiracy and firearms offenses.
If convicted, he faces life in prison. His trial is scheduled for October 13, 2025, after a delay from the original January date.
Do you think they’ll let Lil Durk out?
