NFL Player CeeDee Lamb’s Ex-Girlfriend Says She Considered Taking Her Life As Viral 2020 Draft Moment Resurfaces
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb’s ex-girlfriend, Crymson Rose, is speaking out about the lingering impact of a “humiliating” viral moment from the 2020 NFL Draft.
In messages shared to her Instagram Story, Crymson addressed the ongoing hate she receives related to the now-infamous clip where she reached for Lamb’s phone during his draft night, only for him to quickly snatch the device back.
“If you’re here visiting my page to leave a hate comment or try to remind me of things from my past, I just want to say welcome,” she wrote. “I pray God uses my moment of weakness and humility to somehow transform your heart.”
She also revealed how deeply the moment affected her mental health:
“I truly believe that moment, although dark and trying, made me who I am today. I had full intentions of taking my life after suffering that humiliation, and God Himself kept me.”

At the time, Crymson was harshly criticized online, not only for reaching for the phone, but also for being in a relationship where she allegedly didn’t have access to her boyfriend’s device.
Unfortunately, she still deals with harsh remarks over the incident. Under a recently shared post about her engagement, someone wrote,
“You fumbled the bag and its a shame your ego and pride couldnt tell you to not think with emotion and think with logic”
Five years later, the moment is still one of the most replayed and memed clips during NFL Draft season.
Leave some well wishes for Crymson in the comments below!
