McDonald’s Traffic Slows In U.S. Amid Economic Concerns Over New Tariffs

According to McDonald’s Q1 2025 earnings report, U.S. same-store sales fell 3.6%. The drop marks the biggest decline McDonald’s locations in the states have experienced since the 2020 pandemic. The company says new tariffs, rising prices, and growing economic anxiety have customers thinking twice before ordering.
