Queen Latifah Speaks Out After ‘The Equalizer’ Is Canceled Following Season 5: T’ll Be Back Kicking A** In Something New Real Soon’
CBS has canceled “The Equalizer” after five seasons, with the May 4 finale marking the series’ end.

Queen Latifah, who starred as Robyn McCall, shared her gratitude for the loyal fans on Instagram. “Stepping into a kick-a** role like Robyn was everything I hoped it would be,” she wrote, thanking her “so loyal, so loud, and so ride-or-die” supporters.
Despite the show’s end, she reassured fans, “I’ll be back kicking a** in something new real soon.”
The series, which rebooted the 1980s classic, had a passionate fanbase that pushed it to the top of USA TODAY’s “Save Our Shows” poll.
