Lateasha ‘Sweet Tea’ Lunceford Confirms She’s Leaving ‘Married to Medicine’: ‘There Are Better Things In Store For Me’
It’s official! Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford will not be returning for the next season of Married to Medicine.
The reality star confirmed the news during a livestream yesterday (May 6) where she acknowledged one fan’s comment that what happened to her on the series was “foul.”
“Know that I’m not a quitter… and I ain’t never ran away from anybody… it just is what it is. There are better things in store for me. That platform was what it was for me at the moment… and I’m going down the right path.”

Lateasha joined the cast during Season 10 as the new wife of Dr. Gregory Lunceford, ex-husband of longtime cast member Quad Webb. Her arrival reignited long-standing tensions, leading to several confrontations with cast members and a rocky integration into the group. News of her departure comes just as Bravo revealed Married to Medicine has been renewed for another season. However, the full cast lineup for Season 12 has not yet been announced.
