Cassie Admits Diddy Hit Her Best Friend w/ Hanger, Causing A Concussion In 2018

On the second day of Diddy’s trial, prosecutors presented a 2004 photo of Cassie and model Kerry Morgan hugging, taken during Cassie’s early modeling days in New York shortly after meeting Diddy. Cassie once called Kerry her “best friend,” but their close bond unraveled after a violent incident allegedly involving Diddy.

According to Cassie’s 2023 lawsuit, she and Kerry were “inseparable” until a 2018 altercation at Cassie’s home. The lawsuit claims “Mr. Combs threw a hanger at Ms. Morgan,” striking her and causing a concussion.

The incident led to a legal settlement between Diddy and Kerry. Cassie stated she also paid Kerry additional money to “smooth things over” following the fallout.

Though she tried to mend things, Cassie admits her and Kerry’s friendship hasn’t recovered: “Our friendship hasn’t been the same since.”
