Ex-Wife Of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Jesse Williams Fights To Regain Legal Custody Of Their Children After Losing Rights Due To ‘Hearsay’
Aryn Drake Lee is pushing back after Jesse Williams was granted sole legal custody over their children’s medical decisions.
In court documents filed May 12, Aryn said the decision was made without “any evidentiary hearings” and called it a “serious infringement on my parental rights.” She added,
“This decision was based solely on hearsay and lacks the procedural due process guaranteed under California law and the U.S. Constitution.”
This comes after Jesse accused her of interfering with one of their child’s medical treatments, claiming she told the doctor she would sue if he proceeded.

A judge later ordered Aryn not to interfere. Now, she’s demanding her legal rights be restored.
“The minor children are named and encompassed within this trust as property protected by equitable title,” she claimed. “Any state action… constitutes a breach of trust.”
Aryn also accused Jesse and his legal team of using bullying tactics, writing,
“The majority of [Jesse’s] requests are not in the best interests of our children. They orient around serving [Jesse’s] desires at the expense of our children’s mental, psychological, emotional and physical health.”
The former couple finalized their divorce in 2020 and currently share physical custody.
