Tory Lanez Transferred To Different Prison After Being Stabbed 14 Times

Tory Lanez is getting a change of scenery after being seriously injured while in custody.

TMZ confirmed that the rapper, real name Daystar Peterson, has been moved from the California Correctional Institution (CCI), where he was stabbed 14 times, to California Men’s Colony (CMC), about three hours away. He will now serve out the remainder of his sentence there.

According to his attorney, the 32-year-old is “doing fine,” all things considered, but is still recovering from his injuries. She added that Tory isn’t exactly thrilled about the transfer, but the move was necessary because the previous facility couldn’t guarantee his safety.
