Jamie Foxx Denies Rumor Diddy Was Behind Is 2023 Health Scare: ‘No, Puffy Didn’t Try To K*ll Me’

Jamie Foxx is shutting down the rumor that Diddy was behind his 2023 medical emergency.
In a new roundtable with The Hollywood Reporter, Jamie Foxx opened up about what it was like to be hospitalized after suffering a stroke:
“I snuck in my phone because I didn’t know what the outside world was saying and I couldn’t get my mind around the fact that I had a stroke.”
Then came the internet rumors…
“I see things like, ‘Puffy tried to k*ll me.’ No, Puffy didn’t try to k*ll me.”
However, Jamie Foxx said he was more thrown off by people claiming he’d been cloned:
“When they said I was a clone, that made me flip. I’m sitting in the hospital bed, like, ‘These b*tch a$$ motherf*ckers are trying to clone me.’”
The actor previously addressed the Diddy rumor in his Netflix comedy special What Had Happened Was, saying,
“The internet said Puffy was trying to k*ll me … I know what you thinking, ‘Diddy?’ Hell no, I left them parties early.”
Foxx added he was always “out by 9” because “something didn’t look right,” referencing Diddy’s so-called “Freak-Offs.”
