Kandi Burruss’ Daughter Riley Says ‘RHOA’ Alum Gave Her A One-Year Deadline After Graduation Before Financially Cutting Her Off
RHOA alum Kandi Burruss is laying down strict ground rules to help her daughter Riley achieve financial independence.
In a sneak peek from Bravo’s upcoming reality series Next Gen NYC, premiering June 3, Riley opens up about life after graduating from NYU’s music business program, and the pressure she’s facing now that her financial support is on a countdown.
The 22-year-old reveals that while she has big dreams of making it in the music industry, just like her Grammy-winning mother, known for decades of success in music, reality TV, and more, Kandi has given her a one-year deadline before cutting her off financially.

Riley admits in the teaser:
“I feel stressed and on a time crunch… It’s big shoes to fill.”
She also agrees with a castmate’s remark that “the pressure is definitely on.”
What are your thoughts on Kandi setting a financial cut-off for Riley? Tough love or too much pressure?
