Trump Pardons Todd & Julie Chrisley + Reality Stars To Be Freed After Financial Crime Convictions Overturned
Reality TV stars Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley are set to walk free after former President Donald Trump granted them full pardons, reversing their 2022 convictions for tax evasion and bank fraud. The couple had been serving 12- and 7-year sentences, respectively, but their attorney, Alex Little, praised Donald Trump’s decision, saying,
“Todd and Julie were targeted because of their conservative values and high profile.”
The news was delivered directly to their daughter Savannah Chrisley, who had publicly fought for their release. “This moment is the answer to countless prayers,” she said, thanking Donald Trump, Alice Marie Johnson, and their legal team.
The Chrisleys may transition through a halfway house as the process finalizes. Their initial 2019 indictment came during Trump’s first term, and Savannah Chrisley previously slammed their prosecution at the RNC, calling it politically driven and comparing her family to “the Trumps of the South.”
