Boxer Mike ‘The Bodysnatcher’ McCallum Found Dead After Falling Ill In His Car
Boxer Mike McCallum has passed away at age 68.
According to The Jamaica Observer, McCallum was driving to the gym in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 31, when he suddenly fell ill and pulled over. He was later found unresponsive and declared dead. The official cause of death has not been revealed.

McCallum was a trailblazer in boxing. He became the first Jamaican world champion in 1984 after defeating Sean Mannion at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Over his career, he held world titles in three different weight classes.
In 2003, McCallum was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame, cementing his legacy as one of the sport’s greats.
