Candiace Dillard Bassett’s 2010 Anti-Gay Tweets Resurface As She Celebrates Pride Month
Candiace Dillard Bassett’s 2010 tweets are once again being called into question.
After the former “Real Housewives of Potomac” star shared a message of love to celebrate Pride month, it didn’t take long for fans to dig up the homophobic tweets.
Candiace has already addressed her words in a 2020 statement.
“I, alone, am responsible for my words and I deeply regret saying anything that could hurt my friends, colleagues, family, and fans,” she said in 2020. “At the time I was a private citizen, speaking carelessly and crassly as we often do, and for my lack of a better judgment, I am sorry.”
