Diddy Allegedly Paid Hotel Staff $100K For Cassie A$$ault Footage, Former Security Guard Testifies
A former hotel security guard claims Sean “Diddy” Combs paid $100,000 to obtain surveillance footage showing him assaulting his then-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.
_______________
According to reports, Eddy Garcia testified that Diddy’s chief of staff at the time, Kristina “KK” Khorram, contacted him after the 2016 incident, asking if there was “any possible way to get a copy of the video.” KK then allegedly showed up at the hotel within an hour despite being told a subpoena would be required for the footage.
After telling KK “Off the record, it’s bad,” Garcia was reportedly connected to Diddy, who allegedly admitted he had “too much to drink” and said both he and Cassie wanted the footage gone, fearing it would “ruin” his career.

Garcia’s boss was soon alerted to the situation and allegedly agreed to a $50,000 deal. However, Diddy reportedly paid $100,000 in cash in exchange for the USB drive containing the footage. Garcia said he split the money, $50K to his boss, $20K to another guard, and kept $30K for himself. Diddy also allegedly required all three to sign NDAs with $1 million in liquidated damages.

The security guard added that a FaceTime call with Cassie eased his concerns about a subsequent police report being filed. When authorities eventually contacted him about the matter, Garcia said he denied all involvement and wanted nothing to do with the case.
Despite Diddy’s efforts to keep the footage hidden, in 2024, it was obtained and leaked by CNN.
