Lil Wayne Announces Tour Ahead Of ‘Tha Carter VI’ Album Release
Lil Wayne is hitting the road!
The rap icon just announced the official dates and cities for his upcoming “Tha Carter VI” tour, following the release of his highly anticipated album of the same name, dropping this Friday, June 6.
The new record marks 20 years since the release of Wayne’s first Tha Carter project, and he’s kicking things off with a show at Madison Square Garden on release day.
After the NYC opener, the “Tha Carter VI Tour” picks back up in late July, hitting major cities across North America, including Toronto, Cincinnati, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, Orlando, and more, before wrapping on October 2 in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Joining Wayne on tour will be Young Money’s Tyga and Belly Gang Kushington, with NoCap also appearing as a special guest at select shows.
Tickets for the Madison Square Garden show are reportedly available now, and general ticket sales for the rest of the tour go live this Friday, June 6, at 10 a.m. local time!
