Rapper Gunplay Denies Pointing G*n At Estranged Wife & Their Baby, Blames His 2023 Arrest On Her Alleged Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Gunplay is speaking out about accusations made by his estranged wife.
In an upcoming interview with K. Foxx, the rapper opened up about a 2023 incident where his wife accused him of pointing a g*n at her and their child.
“I was just at Fleming’s Steakhouse the night of, and like a couple hours later, I woke up and I was, like, in a cell with two bologna sandwiches and a jumper,” he recalled. “I couldn’t understand what just happened.”
Gunplay blamed his ex-wife’s alleged mental health issues for the situation. He said she falls under narcissistic personality disorder, describing it as a condition where people do not seek help because they live in their own bubble, their own reality, and surround themselves with delusions as a form of protection.
If you recall, Gunplay was arrested in August 2023 on aggravated battery, false imprisonment, and child abu$e charges. Authorities say he pointed an AK-47 at Vonshae while she was holding their six-month-old baby. Gunplay denies the allegations.
He said,
“I always knew I was gonna be vindicated ’cause I didn’t do anything, but I just knew this was gonna be a process I was gonna have to go through by myself. This was gonna be a spiritual journey.”
