Porsha Williams’ Estranged Husband Simon Guobadia Released From ICE Detention, Deported To Nigeria
Simon Guobadia has made his way back home to Nigeria.
According to US Weekly, following months of detainment, the businessman was released from ICE custody and sent to his home country earlier this week. A close friend of Simon, Tai Savet, shared with the outlet that he’s in “good spirits.” Tai also said that Simon, the soon-to-be ex-husband of ‘RHOA’ star Porsha Williams, doesn’t blame President Trump for his deportation. In fact, Simon would actually love a sit-down with the TV-host-turned-politician, according to his pal Tai.

As reported, back in February, Simon was taken to the Stewart Detention Center in Georgia as part of the Trump administration’s mass deportation efforts. The news of his detainment broke shortly after Porsha exclusively told theJasmineBrand that their divorce proceedings were concluding soon. However, her ex’s legal trouble played a hand in dragging out their legal union. Their next hearing is reportedly set for June 11. Given his new address, it’s likely Simon will attend via video.
