Canadian Politician Jagmeet Singh Says He ‘Shouldn’t Have Gone’ To Kendrick Lamar’s Toronto Show After Being Called Out By Drake
Jagmeet Singh found himself in hot water over the weekend after Drake called him a “goof” for attending Kendrick Lamar’s Toronto concert at the Rogers Centre.
Singh, the former NDP leader, was seen in the crowd during the Canadian stop of Kendrick and SZA’s Grand National Tour. Once the photos surfaced online, Drake posted a screenshot of a direct message sent to Singh, calling him out for supporting his rival.

In response, Singh posted on social media:
“I went for SZA, not Kendrick. I was born in this city. I love this city. Real talk, I get it. I shouldn’t have gone at all. OVO and Drake have lifted this city and [Canada.] For me, it’ll always be Drake over Kendrick.”
Drake and Kendrick have been locked in a public feud that came to a head with the release of Kendrick’s hit song “Not Like Us.”
