Judge Mathis Weighs In On Diddy’s Family & Friends Supporting Him In Federal S*x Crimes Trial: ‘I Would Condemn Him In Private & Support Him In Public’
Judge Mathis is sharing more thoughts about Diddy’s legal woes.
The famed TV judge spoke to TMZ and first weighed in on Kanye West’s controversial appearance to support Diddy at his trial for racketeering, s*x trafficking & transportation to engage in pro$titution charges. He said,
“I think it creates drama. More drama than we’ve seen already. So that’s my assessment. I’m not sure whether that was intentional or to create drama, or whether he’s there to comfort or support a friend — which I think is fine.”
Judge Mathis continued:
“You should be there for your friend to comfort him. Even though he has done wrong. He’s done some heinous crimes, assaults against these women. But if I were a family member, I would be there to comfort him, not defend him, not stick up for, what he’s done. I would condemn him in private and support him in public.”
Diddy’s sons and daughters have also been in attendance to support the disgraced mogul after his trial began last month.
The former TV judge’s most recent comments come after he shared his thoughts on the case so far, stating on his and his son Amir Mathis’ podcast, The Mathis Verdict, that he would sentence Diddy to 5 to 10 years in prison if it were a state trial.
