Lizzo Says Her Weight Loss Was For Herself, Not Fame: ‘I Actually Believe The Compliments’
Lizzo is owning her glow-up and shutting down the noise.
On the “Just Trish” podcast, the Grammy-winning star opened up about her recent transformation, emphasizing that her weight loss wasn’t about fame — it was about feeling better for herself. “I’ve tried everything,” Lizzo admitted when asked about Ozempic, but stressed that her new look came from hard work and dedication.
She revealed that even at her heaviest, like during her Met Gala appearance, her confidence never wavered. But now? “I actually believe the compliments,” she said, because she finally feels as good as people say she looks.
Her journey included more than just losing 16% body fat — she also credited skincare, Invisalign, and full-on self-care for elevating her whole life.
As Lizzo put it, she’s “the baddest b***h out there,” and her snatched waist is the result of beast-mode workouts, not a magic pill. “Period,” she said.
