Chris Brown Pleads Not Guilty To Grievous Bodily Harm In London Nightclub Case
Chris Brown pleaded not guilty to a charge of causing grievous bodily harm during a court appearance at Southwark Crown Court in London on Friday, June 20.
Wearing a blue suit and black tie, Brown spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth, and to enter his plea alongside co-defendant, Dallas rapper Omololu Akinlolu.
The case stems from an alleged attack on producer Abe Diaw at a nightclub in Hanover Square in February 2023. Brown was arrested by London’s Metropolitan Police in Manchester on May 15 and released on $6.7 million bail on May 21. The case is set to resume on July 11, with a trial scheduled for October 26, 2026.
Despite the legal issues, Brown has continued performing, playing a sold-out show in Cardiff the night before his court appearance.
