Cardi B Apologizes To Atlantic Records Amid Success Of New Single ‘Outside’
Cardi B is not above admitting when she’s wrong.
The Grammy-winning rapper recently shared a video apologizing to Atlantic Records for a dispute over her latest single, Outside. The track, which dropped Friday (June 20), was met with massive approval from the public and quickly rose to the No. 1 spot on U.S. Apple Music.

However, it seems Cardi was a little hesitant to release the full song after a snippet went viral on TikTok. She shared,
“I’m going to publicly apologize to Atlantic because I was being very bratty, very mean, very nasty. ‘Cause I really didn’t want to drop the song. But they was like ‘No b*tch, you’re gonna drop this f*cking song.’ I was giving so much pushback, but we dropped it … And it’s going amazing.”
Outside comes ahead of what is highly speculated to be the release of Cardi’s sophomore album. Cardi shared a trailer for a major announcement that’s expected sometime today.
