NFL Star Jalen Hurts Announces Debut Children’s Book ‘Better Than A Touchdown’
Jalen Hurts is adding “author” to his resume.
The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback just announced his first children’s book, Better Than a Touchdown. Illustrated by Nenka Myers, the book tells the story of a boy named Jalen who dreams of playing football… and when he and his friends learn their school team has been cut, they must figure out a way to save it.
Hurts said in a statement:
“Some of the most valuable lessons I’ve brought into my adult life were passed down to me during childhood, like the importance of doing something bigger than yourself. I’m excited to share some of that wisdom with a new generation of kids in Better Than a Touchdown.”
