31-Year-Old Brazilian Influencer Passes Away Hours After Getting Liposuction, Breast Augmentation, & Nose Surgery, Husband Demands Answers

Ana Bárbara Buhr Buldrini, a 31-year-old Brazilian influencer, tragically passed away just hours after undergoing three cosmetic procedures in Istanbul, Turkey.

According to a local outlet, Ana and her husband, Elgar Sueia, traveled from Mozambique for liposuction, breast augmentation, and a nose job on June 15. Sueia shared that his wife had an agreement with Tusa Hospital to receive the surgeries in exchange for promoting the clinic on her social media, where she has 797,000 followers.

However, according to Sueia, Ana was not properly prepared for surgery.

“The surgery was scheduled for this Wednesday [June 18], but due to scheduling issues, the surgeon decided to bring it forward to Sunday [June 15],” he explained.

He added:

“We went to the clinic on Sunday just to see the place, but the doctor wanted to perform the procedure without Ana being prepared.”

It’s reported that the surgery ended around 11 p.m. on June 15. Sueia described a confusing scene during recovery before learning that his wife had gone into cardiorespiratory arrest and later died.

He shared his heartbreak on Instagram:

“I speak today not only as a husband who lost the love of his life, Ana Bárbara Buhr Buldrini, but also as a human being demanding truth, accountability, and justice. On June 16th, 2025, Ana tragically lost her life at a private clinic in Pendik, Istanbul. She came to this country with hope and trust. That trust was broken by the system that allowed this to happen unchecked.”

Tusa Hospital said there was an “unexpected complication” during recovery. Efforts to revive her lasted 90 minutes, but “despite all efforts by our expert anesthesiology team, the patient could not be resuscitated.”
