American Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing In Las Vegas After Engine Starts Smoking
An American Airlines plane headed from Las Vegas to Charlotte had to turn back Wednesday morning (June 25) when black smoke poured from its left engine just after takeoff.
Flight 1665, carrying 165 passengers, landed safely at Harry Reid International around 8:20 a.m. and taxied to the gate on its own.
