Jazmine Sullivan Also Pulls Out Of Wawa Welcome America Festival In Support Of Union Strike: ‘We Will Get To Celebrate When Things Are Better’
Jazmine Sullivan is standing with LL Cool J and the Union workers of Philadelphia who are currently striking.
“Today I choose to not perform at the Wawa Welcome America concert and stand with Philly’s DC33 until the city and union find a way to bring fair living wages to our working class. I love my city and I believe in you. Hopefully, we will get to celebrate when things are better,” she wrote.
LL shared a similar sentiment, stating he could not perform while residents were on the picket line demanding a livable wage.
