‘Pray For Texas’ Trends As Devastating Floods Claim Lives & Force Residents To Flee
“Pray for Texas” is trending and the reason is devastating.
A deadly Texas flood k*lled at least 13 people and left 20 children missing from Camp Mystic, prompting emergency evacuations by helicopter. Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick confirmed, “At least 20 children…remain missing.” Gov. Greg Abbott said, “The immediate priority is saving lives,” deploying the National Guard, water rescue teams, and shelter support.
Sen. Ted Cruz urged, “Please pray right now…especially Camp Mystic.”
Kerrville Mayor Joe Herring Jr. declared a disaster as nearly 3,000 residents lost power. Patrick told parents, “Hug them hard, because you know they’re frightened,” while warning roads remain impassible. Local funeral homes are “completely overwhelmed.”
