Faith Evans Sued Over Biggie’s Estate, Accused Of ‘Withholding’ Proceeds To Pay His Children & Trying To ‘Take Over’ After His Mother’s Passing

Faith Evans is facing a new lawsuit accusing her of illegally withholding money from the estate of her late ex-husband, The Notorious B.I.G.

According to reports, Wayne Barrow, who identifies himself as the trustee of the Voletta Wallace Revocable Trust (the trust of Biggie’s late mother, Voletta Wallace), has filed the suit. He claims Faith “wrongfully” withheld proceeds from a deal that Voletta arranged before her passing, as part of an alleged attempt to take over the estate. ?
________

Barrow points to a deal involving Primary Wave, a major independent music publisher known for owning catalogs of icons like Prince. Back in March, the company announced it was finalizing a deal to purchase a 50% stake in Biggie’s estate, which The Wall Street Journal estimated at around $200 million.

However, a major shift occurred just one month before that announcement, Voletta, who helped run the estate through The Wallace Trust (a 50% owner of the Notorious B.I.G. LLC), passed away.
________

Barrow says Voletta helped grow and manage Biggie’s estate after his death and personally negotiated the deal with Primary Wave. Meanwhile, he claims Faith, who owns the other 50% of the LLC, started distributing profits from the sale to Biggie’s children, Ty’anna and CJ, and “presumably to herself,” while withholding the Trust’s share.
________

Barrow is accusing Faith, who was married to Biggie at the time of his death, of “misconduct” and is asking the court to remove her as a manager of the Notorious B.I.G. LLC.

What are your thoughts on the lawsuit? ?
