Wu-Tang Clan Rapper Raekwon’s Newark Dispensary Evicted After Reportedly Falling $500K Behind On Rent
Raekwon’s Newark cannabis dispensary, HashStoria, has reportedly been evicted after falling nearly $500,000 behind on rent and other fees.
According to reports, an eviction notice was posted last month at the Broad Street location, revealing the company had not paid rent in over two years.

Despite a high-profile grand opening last November featuring appearances by Fat Joe, Method Man, and fellow Wu-Tang members, the business was already 19 months behind on rent when it opened its doors. Sources say delays with city approvals and building inspections may have contributed to the setback.
HashStoria had gained attention not just for Raekwon’s involvement but also for backing from Charlamagne and former congressman Bakari Sellers. The brand had previously found success at three Oregon locations.
