Laverne Cox Says She Dated A MAGA Republican Cop, But Didn’t ‘Develop’ His Politics [VIDEO]

Laverne Cox is spilling her tea.

While promoting her upcoming one-woman show Gurrl, How Did I Get Here, the actress touched on once dating a 26-year-old “blonde-haired, blue-eyed MAGA Republican voter who is a New York City police officer” during the height of the pandemic.

Despite the cop’s views, Laverne said,

“I did not develop any of his politics. I still have my own.”

She confirmed the romance a while back during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The two stayed together for nearly four years before quietly splitting in spring 2024. His name has never been made public.
