Tekashi 6ix9ine Could Face Prison Time After Pleading Guilty In Dr*g Case As Judge Warns Of ‘Severe Consequences’
Tekashi 6ix9ine is now facing the possibility of serious jail time after pleading guilty to coc*ine and MDMA possession, a direct violation of his probation from his 2018 RICO case.
The rapper appeared in federal court Wednesday and admitted to the charges stemming from a March raid at his Miami home. Though he initially pleaded not guilty, 6ix9ine agreed to a deal with prosecutors that dropped two additional charges in exchange for his admission.
Judge Paul A. Engelmayer, who also handled the rapper’s high-profile Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods case, warned him that any further violations ahead of his September sentencing would carry “severe consequences.”
Even without new infractions, the judge could revoke his probation and impose a prison sentence.
This marks the second time Tekashi has violated his current probation. With sentencing looming, his legal team now faces the challenge of convincing the court to avoid a return to federal custody.
How long do you believe Tekashi will get behind bars?
