GloRilla Speaks Out Following Arrest For Alleged Drug Possession: ‘No, I Wasn’t Busted, My House Got Robbed’
GloRilla has entered the chat!
Moments ago, the Memphis rapper took to X to set the record straight on her short stint behind bars. Sharing similar sentiments as a statement from her legal team, Glo said:
“CRAZY?? My House got Home Invaded Saturday While I was in Indianapolis performing for the WNBA all star game & instead of Focusing on finding the Suspects, they focus on some cannabis.”
As reported, news broke this morning (July 24) that on Tuesday, GloRilla was booked and soon released on a $22,000 bond in Georgia for alleged drug possession. She reportedly faces two felony charges: possession of a Schedule I controlled substance and possession of marijuana over one ounce. It was later revealed that the arrest came after cannabis was allegedly found by police when Glo’s family called following a break-in.

Her attorneys said to TMZ:
“Instead of investigating the violent home invasion and theft at [GloRilla’s] home, they sought a search warrant after spotting what they believed was a small amount of marijuana. Law enforcement then pursued arrest warrants for her, even though she hadn’t been at her home for some time. No arrest warrants have been issued for the violent home invaders. Ms. Woods is a victim, not a suspect.”
In her own words, Glo added on X:
“Long story short my house gets home invaded and Im the only one that gets arrested.”
