Erykah Badu Announces 25th Anniversary Tour For Sophomore Album ‘Mama’s Gun’
Erykah Badu is going on tour!
The neo-soul icon recently announced a special 25th-anniversary concert series for her critically acclaimed sophomore album Mama’s Gun, set to kick off this October at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
The 16-show tour, Mama’s Gun ’25: The Return of Automatic Slim, will run through the fall, with stops in major cities like Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, and Houston, before wrapping up on December 10 in Badu’s hometown of Dallas, Texas.

Mama’s Gun was the follow-up to her wildly successful debut album Baduizm and features some of her most beloved—and Grammy-nominated—tracks, including “Bag Lady,” “Didn’t Cha Know?,” and “… & On.”
Pre-sale tickets for select cities (using the promo code LIGHTS) will be available starting Wednesday, July 30, at 10 a.m. local time. General on-sale begins Friday, August 1, at 10 a.m. local time.
